Event designer EST. 1988 Decor and Events, along with photographer Clapp Studios, and a team of talented vendors successfully brought their vision for this gorgeous shoot to life:
“We wanted to break away from the monotonous heavy on white and gold trend that is prevalent in the DMV area. We figured for this shoot we could aim for a balance of a heavy color which was the black, hints of the white as our light color and minimal gold accents. The room is more like a industrial open space with columns so we created drape lines that coincided with the space and placed the tables in between the columns to allow visibility for guest tables and the sweetheart area.”

Linens:
Black velvet cloths and mirror glass table tops.
Centerpiece Description:
For the estate tables, the arrangements were made with White Hydrangeas, white Eskimo, Sweet Eskimo Roses, SnapDragon, Cabiosas, Anemones, Lisianthus, Italian Ruscus on Black Metal Flower Stands and low arrangements down the estate tables with 2″ Halo Glass scattered down the table with floating candles.
For the round tables we used a 30″ glass vase with a large white hydrangea arrangement with pink Eskimo roses and Italian ruscus on top of a clear riser for more height. Alongside of the arrangement are 2 cylinder vases with Calla Lilies submerged in water on top of mirrored table tops.
Place Settings:
Black-layered ceramic plates with Damask flocking linen napkins in between. On top is a round menu card to match the size of the dessert plate paired with a wine glass, champagne glass and gold flatware.
Stationery:
Black cardstock with white font for the round menu.
