This traditionally-inspired country club wedding style shoot was created for brides and grooms that love something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue! We can't get enough of the subdued monochromatic palette made up of varied shades of cream and blue, as well as the expertly placed gold and copper accents within the decor. The rustic backdrop, mixed with the lush florals and artistically designed cake were other details lovingly captured by Janelle Jaqueline Photography, LLC at the University Golf Club.
Shoot Location: University Golf Club, University Park, Illinois
Shoot theme: Playing off of the wedding tradition of "Something Blue," this styled shoot celebrates the color blue by creating an elegant, monochromatic scene that features various shades of pale and slate blues, accented with copper and touches of white.
Color combinations: Pale blue, slate blue, copper, white
Favorite detail: Hand-lettered glass sign with a copper frame featuring scripture Colossians 3:14
Pale blue polyester table linens accented with slate blue napkins.
The centerpieces consisted of three simple rectangular glass vases with copper bases.
The bouquet and the centerpieces both had white roses, hydrangeas, peonies, dusty miller, limonium, brunia berries, Italian ruscus, myrtle leaves, salal greens and gold floral accent accessories.
Modern, elegant place settings featured hand-lettered clear acrylic menus sitting atop slate blue napkins, white plates and copper chargers. Place settings were accented with acrylic place cards with copper pipe holders and flatware tied with a silk ribbon, along with copper rimmed glasses and a touch of greenery.
