Engagement story:

Braydon and I went on a four-day Bahama cruise in December 2017. We called it a baecation and wanted some quality time with one another. What made it more special is that it was my very first cruise! On day two, there was a formal day, so we were both formally dressed and ready to take professional pictures. As the photographer began to take our pictures, Braydon says, “I have to tie my shoe.” The secret is that later on, I realized he had no shoe laces! He was down on one knee asking me to be his wife while he had someone else record this beautiful moment. I was very surprised that I had to take a step back and was blushing because we were the center of attention. Everyone was clapping and I couldn’t stop smiling. Best moment of my life and of course I said, “Yes!”

For the Groom: Walk us behind the scenes of creating this special day.

I came up with the idea to show Teall a list of cruise getaways so we could escape the real world. I got her close friends involved with picking out her ring and ring size. Before we left for the cruise, I asked her father and mother for approval in asking her to marry me.

When we boarded the cruise ship, I looked at the itinerary for a formal day where we’d be able to take pictures and decided that would be the perfect time to propose. I made sure Teall’s hair, and nails were done so she would be photo-ready for the big moment. She had no idea what was coming.

What makes your love special?

No matter how hard things get, we always have each other’s back and we never give up on our goals. We look at each other and we know that everything will be okay.

What was the theme of your shoot?

Braydon and I relate our love story to Bella and Edward from Twilight in terms of their romance and the connection. We wanted to really capture that relationship in pictures.

Were there any memorable moments during the shoot?

The most memorable moments during the shoot was the amount of fun we had with our photographers and all the laughs we shared. We were able to be creative with different poses and display our personalities. Our engagement photos were so perfect that we both shed tears. They were beautiful photos that captured the essence of our love.

What are you most looking forward to about your wedding?

We are looking forward to showing everyone who can witness our love for each other and starting another chapter in our lives.

Have you started planning your wedding?

Yes, we have been planning out our wedding step-by-step since last year, so we are stress-free and ready for our big day.

Congratulations to the happy couple! We wish you a fruitful marriage and many years of wedded bliss.
