From Aisha Garnett of Sheree Amour Weddings & Event Planning:
North Carolina's “Love is in the Air” Wedding Inspiration Shoot – Our "Love is in the Air" style shoot shows the beautiful bold colors of red, silver, black and white right before the most lovable day of the year – Valentine’s Day. All of the amazing wedding professionals involved came together to create and capture the beauty of a potential winter wedding around the most romantic time of the year. Not to mention, we added a little bit of an edge with our selection for the transportation by including a Red, Black and Silver Honda Fury to compliment the beautiful couple, showing their edgy side. Putting together the two elements of romance and winter, brought forth our beautiful, amazing photos of the "Love is in the Air" style shoot. We are definitely expressing nothing more than edginess, elegance and “Love”!
Shoot location: Residence Inn/Courtyard Marriott Raleigh-Durham Airport/Brier Creek, Raleigh, North Carolina
Shoot theme: The style shoot’s theme was centered around “Love” and inspired by Valentine’s Day, so we entitled it “Love is in the Air.”
Color combinations: Red, Black, White, and Silver
Favorite detail: By far, my favorite detail of the style shoot was the edginess of our Bride/Groom on the Honda Fury. It fits the color scheme and it simply shows that you can express elegance, love and edginess all at the same time.
The linens for the Bride and Groom table were awning stripe black/white with Poly Satan Silver and Red Napkins, all by Classic Party Rentals, Raleigh, NC.
The bride’s bouquet consists of red and white hydrangeas, white feathers on the top, laced with black feathers on the bottom. It was also wrapped with black and white damask ribbon and finished with beautiful silver crystal brooches all over. The groom’s boutonniere included a single red hydrangea and white feathers. All floral created by Moore Designs.
The place setting included all black beautifully designed 10 inch square dinner plates embellished with floral vines and an 8 inch salad plate to match. The plates are by Noir Garden by Home. We also included capri black matte flatware with water glasses and champagne glasses with a black stem finish.
The stationery consisted of a menu card, invitation, program, door knob sign, escort card and glass table number. The design for the invitation included a beautiful black lace covering, the header for all stationery included the bride and groom’s name.
