Commander’s Mansion Massachusetts Styled Shoot

This luxuriously styled shoot makes mansion weddings an effortless reality with gorgeous blooms and details. A team of talented Boston-based vendors worked together to bring this sophisticated and traditional shoot to fruition. From the beautifully styled bride, to the vintage accents and stunning backdrops, this shoot will get you ready to tie the knot like a royal. Here is what Leise Jones Photography had to say about working on this sophisticated wedding styled shoot:

“The theme for this shoot was “First Dance.” We partnered with a local ballroom dance company and set up photo opportunities that were specific to wedding dancing. We chose a historic venue outside of Boston with a lovely formal dining room, a beautiful front porch and a grand staircase. One of our models is a professional dancer and he helped the others to feel natural in their dance poses, but we also had a professional choreographer there to assist.”

Shoot location: The Commander’s Mansion, Watertown, Massachusetts

Shoot theme: First Dance

Color combinations: Blush, white, pink

Favorite detail: The dresses are made by a company called Celia Grace designs. They are ethically made from renewable resources and benefit women and families in developing countries. We were really excited to showcase this dress company.

Decor Details:

Linens:

For the linens, I used plain cream table clothes that I bought from Target.

Centerpiece Description:

I used cube-shaped wooden containers with blush roses, white dahlias, and lush greens.

We can’t get enough of this gorgeous styled shoot. Share your favorite details in the comments below.
