A Rustic Bridal Garden Michigan Styled Shoot

For brides that like to get in touch with mother nature alongside their furry best friend, this styled shoot was made for you in mind. All you need is a pet-friendly outdoor venue, your freshly-groomed buddy and some stunning boho wedding decor to have the rustic union of your dreams. We love the lush green garden and illustrious greenhouse, as well as the gold accents and romantically red color palette used in the arranged blooms, centerpieces and wedding cake. Take in these beautiful details, captured by Chettara T. Photography.

With the event planning and coordination orchestrated by the talented Chettara, here is what she had to say about bringing this animal-friendly shoot to life:

“Every bride needs a moment with their best gal! This styled bridal shoot was inspired by berry tones, gardens, fresh fruit, and of course the love for the fur babes. What’s special about this shoot is the beautiful open-air conservatory. It’s both warm, inviting, and unexpected for a small town near the airport. For the tablescape as written by our stylist Juliana, ‘I wanted to create something that was minimal to highlight the gorgeous florals, venue, and let the color palette of deep reds inspired by fresh berries shine.'”

Shoot location: Taylor Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, Taylor, Michigan

Shoot theme: Bridal Garden

Color combinations: Berry Tones

Favorite detail: Fresh berries with grapes, greenery, and flowers along the table runner.

Decor Details:

Linens:

For our styled shoot, we used a plain beige linen to dress our table and let the rest of the decor shine.

Centerpiece Description:

We went against the traditional centerpiece trends and decided to go with an intricate table runner that included a variety of flowers, fresh grapes and cherries.

Place Settings:

Juliana: “The place settings were handmade and sourced from Italy, and the flatware was vintage from my great aunt’s collection that I inherited at our wedding. The teacups were also vintage and passed down from my grandmother’s collection. I think it’s really important when designing a wedding and tablescape to incorporate items that are personal and handmade to really tell a story.”

Stationery:

We opted for clear acrylic frames filled with moss and topped it off with white hand-lettering and gold accents.

Please share unique details from your shoot:

This shoot also included fresh flowers and mint ice cubes which were not only beautiful but also refreshing–especially since we spent the day outside in hot gardens.

We can’t get enough of this gorgeous styled shoot. Share your favorite details in the comments below.
