Let It Snow Virginia Styled Shoot

With polar vortexes, flurries and streetsides reflecting the essence of a winter wonderland, we couldn’t help but think of the holidays that just passed and all the wonder they provide. That’s how we came across this “Let It Snow” wedding styled shoot, which features sophistication, fantasy and warmth on a cold winter day. We absolutely love the use of crystals, lights and silver accents to represent the snowflakes that fall from the sky. Take a look for yourself and check out these ethereal winter details, captured by LB Studio Image and Wild Heart Films.

I Do Weddings with Love, a Virginia-based wedding planning and design company teamed up with these two photographers along with a handful of talented vendors to bring this wintery wedding aesthetic to life. Aside from the execution, here is what photographer Laura Bryant of LB Studio Image had to say about working on this fantastically styled shoot:

“A fresh blanket of snow is fresh, clean and new. It encourages entertaining times, peaceful moments, and lots of cuddles with the one you love. It doesn’t snow much here in the southern part of Virginia but we love our “Let It Snow” southern style. Our designer rolled out all the stops with white linen tablecloths topped with white faux fur, five-arm crystal candelabras, stemware, snowflakes and the most stunning high floral centerpiece made quite a statement.

The tables were lined with fruitwood chiavari chairs. The sweetheart table was complimentary with its white linen tablecloth, white faux fur, and to add a kick, a silver sequence table-runner that picks up light from the above crystal candelabra and solitaires. Our ceremony tent welcomed our couple with white drape lined with white market lights, a chandelier, and padded chiavari chairs. At the altar, they met a snowball tree lit gazebo with a white balloon archway. After the ceremony, our couple warmed up with their choice of a hot cocoa and coffee bar along with a custom drink from the His & Her’s martini bar… Cheers!”
