Engagement story:

I convinced Whitney to get dressed up so we could go to dinner for my “brothers birthday.” As we walked to the restaurant, we were stopped by the photographer asking if we wanted a free picture in front of the tree. We started taking photos, and as she took one by herself I snuck behind her and got down on one knee. Our family ran out to the tree with balloons and roses as they had been patiently watching from the Barnes and Noble across the street. It was unforgettable.

For the Groom:

I set up a videographer and a photographer to stage a fake photo shoot. It was November and I wanted to propose outside in front of the giant Christmas tree. Weeks in advance I recorded a video stating my love for my soon-to-be wife, and how she meant the world to me.

What makes your love special?

Our love is special because we met by faith. We met through the app infamously known as Tinder. We were five miles away from each other and became a match quickly. When we went on our first date, immediately fell in love because we had so much in common. One of those things being, our fathers were both pastors.

What was the theme of your shoot?

Style in the City

Were there any memorable moments during the shoot?

Yes, the moment when my future husband picked me up and spun me around. It made me feel like nothing else mattered except our love.

What are you most looking forward to about your wedding?

A favorite moment from our wedding involved me seeing the expression on my fiance’s face as I walked down the aisle.

Have you started planning your wedding?

Yes, I started planning my wedding immediately after the engagement.

Congratulations to the happy couple! We wish you many years of wedded bliss.
