Rustic Historic Market Hall North Carolina Wedding

Tiffany and Chris met in 2012 while at Billionaire’s Barber Shop in Raleigh, North Carolina. Chris was Tiffany’s son’s barber, and from the moment they met, she knew there was something special about him that had her intrigued. They were friends for two years before making it official. Check out how they celebrated becoming a blended family at the Historic Market Hall in North Carolina. Here are their memorable photos from the big day, captured by Story and Rhythm Photography.

Engagement story:

We had a date planned to go to a concert for jazz violinist Daniel D. In route to the concert, Chris wanted to test out his new GoPro camera on the ride there. During the ride, he tells me the impact I made in his life, how happy he is, and then asked me to marry him while pulling the ring out of the glove box!

After the concert, when we arrived back home, he asked our kids to come to the living room and he got down on one knee and then asked me again in front of them. Our boys were beyond excited!

What makes your love special?

Our love is special because it was built on a deep friendship that allows us to understand each other. We are truly each other’s best friend and that stays at the forefront of our relationship. We get to do life with our bestie!

From the Bride:

This journey to become a Mrs. was a dream! I had the most amazing wedding party and truly felt loved through the entire process. On the wedding day, I was full of emotions but was most excited to celebrate my love and new life with all of our family and friends.

From the Groom:

The process made me a bit nervous because planning a wedding is overwhelming! On the day of the wedding I was a ball of emotions. Overall, I was mostly excited to start a new chapter with my woman by my side.

Your most memorable moment:

The most memorable moment was the garter removal. Chris planned an elaborate skit that involved over-sized shears, whipped cream, cherries, and sprinkles! It was a moment our guest will forever remember!

Wedding song:

John Legend’s “You & I.” We selected this song because the lyrics express that no matter who is in the room, it will always feel like it’s just us two. This was the exact sentiment we felt in that moment.

Favorite wedding detail:

Our favorite wedding detail was the overall decor. We wanted to evoke emotion through the design of our spaces and we were able to do just that. Everything was perfect and were truly what dreams are made of.

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?

We are most looking forward to sharing a life together, tons of belly laughs, and creating new memories for our family. On this journey of life, we are glad to have our best friend by our side.

Advice for a Bride and Groom on their wedding day:

The best advice we can give is to enjoy all the moments of the day. It goes by so fast, so try to capture and remember every moment you can. Don’t get too caught up in every detail because at that point, there’s not much more you can do anyway.

Please feel free to include any other interesting anecdotes from your big day!

We have learned that planning a wedding can be challenging, but having a family and wedding party who support and love you is the key to keeping it fun!

Congratulations to the happy couple! We wish you many years of wedded bliss!
