Justin and Chelsa met in March of 2011. Chelsa was working at FinshLine, a retail store that sells athletic shoes and apparel, and Justin was in the store shopping. Chelsa was not interested at the time. However, the two remained friends and gradually started talking and seeing more of each other. The couple began dating in November of 2011 and are planning their dream wedding next year. Check out their nature themed engagement session, captured by Andre Brown Photography.
The engagement story:
Justin proposed to Chelsa on the morning of Saturday, March 19, 2016. Justin had planned to propose to Chelsa the night before with his best friend (best man) and her best friend (maid of honor) in tow. However, Dawndra (MOH) left town a day early and did not attend the Houston Rockets basketball game that evening. The night was a mess and ended badly for the couple. The next morning Justin went to get breakfast at Chick-fil-A when he came home Chelsa was sitting on the couch watching television. Justin brought the bag of food to the living room to Chelsa. This was odd because no one ate in the living room. Justin knelt in front of Chelsa on the floor and was talking to her about how the previous night had been ruined, they needed to work on communicating, etc. etc. Then he told her he had a surprise in the bag. Chelsa suspected it was a cookie, but found the ring box.
What was the inspiration for your engagement session?
There wasn't much inspiration for the session. Justin and Chelsa just wanted to be comfortable and look and feel like themselves.
What are you most looking forward to about your wedding?
Chelsa is most looking forward to getting to party with her friends/family and of course, become Justin's WIFE. Justin is looking forward to celebrating and getting the wedding over with.
What is your favorite thing to do as a couple?
Justin and Chelsa just like to hang out together and laugh. The couple spends a lot of time binge watching various TV shows and movies. The couple also spends a lot of time with their two dog children, Tan and Strax.
