Glam Bahamian Duet Engagement Session

Wendy and Dyson met about seven years ago when she auditioned to be a part of the Visage Band. Wendy instantly noted that he was attractive but really didn’t pay any mind to that because she was not exactly in the frame of mind of entertaining relationships or friendships. Nonetheless, Dyson’s sweet spirit, warm presence and effervescent personality were hard to get around and they became fast friends. The best of friends even! Dyson is one of the best friends you can have as he listens intently, and offers honest advice. Wendy didn’t realize it then, but Dyson had begun to fall in love with her, but the ever patient gentleman that he is, he never pushed her and was the man she needed… He was her friend. Fast forward a few years and Wendy and Dyson became a dynamic musical duo. He was there for Wendy unconditionally during a difficult experience she endured, and once again he was gentle, kind, and warm… everything you want in a friend, in a man. Wendy then realized that her feelings for Dyson had grown beyond friendship into something deeper. She was hesitant to confront those emotions for a while, but she gave in to the love that was growing between the two for so many years. “Why did I take so long to get here,” Wendy often asks herself, “But everything was in God’s timing.” This loving couple is ready to make more beautiful music together and celebrated their union with an elegant engagement session at the Baha Mar Resort in Nassau, Bahamas. Engagement story:

Dyson proposed to me on February 14, the most popular romantic holiday known as Valentine’s Day, which was something I didn’t expect. It was just us two at home, painting, eating leftovers and drinking wine. I painted some violets, but he was quite adamant about not letting me see previews of what he was painting, and I thought nothing of it. I painted some florals, while Dyson was busy painting a masterpiece of a man on his knees with a ring box. He showed me the painting and my first thought was, “how and when did you become an expert painter?” Then I saw the red box on the painting and realized that little addition was not in the original tutorial piece. At that exact moment, he whisked away the painting to reveal the ring box he was hiding behind it. He then quietly asked me to marry him. With tears in both of our eyes, I said yes.
