Engagement story (please tell us the story of your engagement proposal and your most memorable moments):

My proposal was a surprise for a surprise! I spent months planning the perfect 30th surprise party for him just for him to turn around and ask me to be his wife on the same night.  While planning his party I had him fooled that we were attending my cousin’s engagement party and that she had a dress code that we had to follow (all black), so when he walked in and saw his family and friends he couldn’t believe it. My best friend knew all about his big surprise. He was also in contact with her about popping the big question. Later that night, I was told to go outside to speak to my cousin. As I walked back inside I saw  rose petals and heard, “Why I love You” by Major playing in the background. When I looked up, Greg was standing in a heart shape made from rose petals. After crying for 5 minutes straight, I finally said YES!!!

What makes your love special?

Our love is special because we make each other smile and laugh. We are each other’s best friend. We inspire each other, support each other, champion each other, and look forward to building and growing our family, we have with one another. The feeling I feel each day because I know whatever I go through in life I have a solid partner to confide in who will lift my spirits, and encourage me is everything. We have goals and plans that we have yet to complete and I look forward to reaching our goals with the love of my life beside me.
