A Romantic Sunset Engagement Session at Arabia Mountain

Alexandria and Craig have Instagram to thank for their initial “meeting”.  After direct messaging each other for a while, they went on their first date in December 2017.  Ever since that day, the couple has been inseparable.

Nothing says romance like a scenic view and the moody hues of a setting sun on the horizon. Check out Alexandria and Craig’s beautiful sunset engagement session captured by Renee Jael Photography.

Engagement story:

For their one year dating anniversary, Craig took Alexandria on a date to the ice skating rink. Unbeknownst to her, while she was skating Craig had all of Alex’s closest family and friends go into a private room in the building. As they skated around the rink together and approached the entrance, their family and friends were each holding letters that spelled out ‘Will You Marry Me‘. Then, Craig got down on one knee and asked Alex to be his wife.

For the Groom: Walk us through the behind the scenes of creating this special day.

Alex’s closest friends helped me plan everything. Alex and I are both skaters so I knew the rink would be the perfect place and somewhere that Alex wouldn’t guess I would propose. She is extremely close to her family and friends so I wanted them to be a part of the proposal in a big way.  They each held a letter that spelled out the question. It took a lot of planning with secret conversations and messages, but we pulled it off.
