A Bohemian Beach Elopement

Summer is near and we are all dreaming of escaping to a tropical beach destination. This bright bohemian elopement shoot combines lush floral details by Flowers by Alicia, detailed styling by Deborah Lindquist Eco Couture and beautiful imagery by Raelyn Elizabeth Photography.

From the styled shoot team: Beach lovers and bohemian lovers have one key thing in common: they know how exactly how to relax!  So why not join the two?  Alicia used amazing artistically designed florals pretty much everywhere to get the natural hot pink, orange, blush pink and greenery we so loved!  Deborah created unique/one of a kind kimono pillows which were super comfy and beautiful.  She also made a parachute dress that dried almost instantly when wet and didn’t carry the sand on it- a must for a beach bride who doesn’t want to look all wet and sandy on her wedding day. Myesha used a red lipstick and smokey eyes to really bring out our beautiful bride’s incredible cheekbones. She kept her natural hair and added a colorful flower crown created by Alicia. Perla created the wavy cake with GOLD sparkly frosting on it. Sandee created a unique wooden sign to add some wood to our natural location, plus the couple gets to hang the sign on their wall forever after. Raelyn photographed the event with Sony gear and prime lenses to get the real colors without losing any details.  We know our brides and grooms are looking for new, bold colors for their spring and summer weddings, but most of all they want to relax, smile, and enjoy EVERY MOMENT of their big day.  Our shoot is designed to inspire the beach loving, laid back couple with a love for all things gold and bold.

Styled Shoot Details:

Linens (Deborah Lindquist):

I included white linens for the tablescape which provided a subtle background for the bold flowers and gold accent pieces.

Centerpiece Description (Alicia Yokota):

When I found out that the theme of the wedding was Boho Chic, I was so excited because I easily relate to this artistic, free-spirited, and unique style. To achieve this look, I chose flowers with bright and bold colors as the main flowers, orange Ranunculus, hot pink Peonies, and hot pink Garden Roses. To give it a free-spirited feel, I made sure to use plenty of Seeded Eucalyptus and Pepperberry for greenery. Then, I added touches of blush pink Spray Roses and purple Veronica to give the arrangement more texture and a unique touch. The outcome was a stunning color combination that left the bride and groom so excited and full of smiles!

Place Settings (Deborah Lindquist):

I used the Royal Albert china plates with goldware and gold tinted glassware.

Favors (Target):

The glass and gold geometric lantern with sparkly candle were beautiful and fit perfectly as a lovely accent on the table and a gift the guests could take home.

Stationery (Adriana of Boxed Wedding Invitations):

I used white pearl shimmer paper with pearl white, hot pink, light pink, orange, and greenery for the colors. I created a floral design, and I used Wallows and Myriad Pro fonts. I wanted the invitations to have a lot of colors and flowers perfect for a spring wedding. The watercolor flowers motif is the prettiest for a spring/boho wedding. I wanted the invitations to have a lot of colors and a look that will complete the boho look beautifully. I was looking to incorporate something fresh and modern for our beach loving boho bride.
