A French Love Affair

This French inspired wedding style shoot is the perfect mix of high fashion and lots of glam. We love the soft and romantic palette with gold accents, lush florals and crystal elements that were all beautifully captured by Amy Anaiz Photography.

Designs by Ayanna, a New Jersey-based wedding planning and design company, teamed up with a group of talented vendors to create this French inspired styled shoot, which showcases elements from the vintage countryside charm, mixed with city glam. Here’s what Ayana from Designs by Ayanna had to say about the inspiration behind their styled shoot:

This styled shoot is inspired by a couple who met during college. Adele is a charming girl from the countryside of France whose wanderlust and love for culture brought her to New York City. She’s a witty girl who always dreamed of one day moving from her small town life to the big city to pursue her love of music. She met Jean during her junior year of college in music class. Although she found him attractive, and totally wanted to see where the relationship would go, she ignored his advances. Months later, they met again on a school trip to an off-Broadway play. It was in that moment that they felt chemistry and they began to get to know each other. Coincidentally, they learned they were both of French heritages (Jean is Haitian), and couldn’t help but explore more commonalities. Adele and Jean continued dating after college; they pursued their careers and their relationship. After 3 years of dating, Jean popped the question overlooking the city skyline and Adele said “Yes!” Their wedding is the perfect fusion of who they are: vintage countryside charm meets city glam for A French Love Affair.
