Charanna "C.K." Alexander Jean has always had a passion for writing and romance. This ambitious writer, born in Los Angeles and raised in New York, studied Journalism at Howard University in Washington D.C. and received her master’s degree in Digital Media at Columbia University in New York. She is the Senior Editor for Black Bride Magazine, a digital wedding and lifestyle publication for women of color and a Web Producer and Writer for the New York Times Styles and Weddings Sections. Writing is her passion and love is her purpose. C.K. is also the owner and founder of Love Ink, a special occasion writing service that assists couples with writing their wedding vows, love stories, lover letters and more. She is also an ordained Universal Life minister and officiant. C.K's tenure in the field of journalism as well as her coaching and writing services has led her to host writing workshops nationally and speak as an expert on media, wedding and lifestyle related panels. She has been featured in and has lent her expertise to various publications, including: Essence Magazine, Ebony Magazine, Perfect Wedding Guide, Huffington Post Weddings, New York Wedding Magazine, Brides.com, TheKnot.com and more.
