A Glamorous Island Maternity Shoot in the Bahamas

There's nothing sweeter than entering the new chapter of life called parenthood. For Yolanda and Ryan, they found out they were expecting after four years of marriage and decided to keep the news between the two of them for a while:

"My husband and I decided to keep our pregnancy private and really enjoy our blessing for a while. Family and friends got the news when I was 7 months pregnant, and their reactions were priceless. This experience has been one that we cherish, and we are grateful for our baby girl."

How far along are you?

Currently I’m 9 months pregnant. We began to have a desire for a child, but we knew it would happen at the right time. One day I noticed I was putting on a little weight, as I am one who tries to keep fit after losing 50lbs 4 years prior. However, no matter how much I exercised it seemed as if I could not lose the weight. By the time we even thought about taking a pregnancy test I was already 2 months pregnant. My husband and I decided to keep our pregnancy private and really enjoy our blessing for a while. Family and friends got the news when I was 7 months pregnant, and their reactions were priceless. This experience has been one that we cherish, and we are grateful for our baby girl.

What was the theme for your shoot?

Nude and Vintage

Were there any memorable moments during your maternity shoot?

The entire shoot was amazing and depicted who we are as a couple. Our favorite part of the session was the gender reveal segment where we pulled a pink smoke bomb.

What are you most looking forward to when it comes to parenthood?

We are looking forward to holding her and showing her the unconditional love that we know we are capable of giving her. Also, looking forward to making new memories now that we are going from a family of two to three.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
