Real Weddings {Maryland}: Tatiana & Armel!

Tatiana and Armel met in 2008 during their freshman year of college. "I was a math tutor and she came in the tutoring center looking for help. I thought and still think that she is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen," said Armel.  After three years of being together, the happy couple celebrated their union with a romantic Maryland wedding. Check out their special day captured by Morgan Sydney Photography.

Engagement story:

I proposed on her birthday with the help of my sisters. We had organized the birthday party at my sister’s house. When it was time to blow out the candles and make a wish, we asked her to close her eyes, and when she opened them, the lights were turned on I was on my knees. It was magical

From the Bride:

It is crazy but is seems like the day went by so fast. The morning of my wedding, I spent the whole day with my mom, godmother and her friend. We laughed, shared stories and had a great time. I had no stress. It did not really sink in that I was getting married until the hair and makeup artist arrived to doll us up.

From the Groom: I felt truly happy. My only concern was for future wife to be happy, nothing else really mattered.

Most memorable moment:

Bride: I was so nervous walking down the aisle. I did not notice anyone else in that room, my eyes were fixated on Armel. My nerves were getting the best of me until Armel gave me his infamous winks, and I knew at that moment that everything was ok, and I felt such a spirit of calmness over my entire body.

Groom: My most memorable moment was her wedding vow. Hearing how she felt and sees me made me really happy.

Wedding song:

I walked down to “when I say I do” by Matthew West, it is such a beautiful song and truly speaks of the commitment that we were about to make to one another. Our first dance song was “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts, we chose this song because we are both spiritual people and we feel that our past experiences have truly led us to one another.

Favorite wedding detail:

We had so many amazing details but I must say, our cake turned out beautiful. It truly was a representation of us.

What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?

Living and learning life together

Advice for a Bride/Groom on their wedding day:
