Andrea and Jamal met in college while they were both on the college track team for Oklahoma Christian University. The two became friends and their relationship grew from there. Andrea and Jamal celebrated their union with a youthful, classic wedding, captured by Jillian Hogan Photography.

Engagement story:
We had both been working two jobs in the summer of my last year at college. He told me he was taking me out so I got ready like a normal date. We went to the botanical gardens in Oklahoma City where there are flowers from all over the world. Then he took me to a small area and got on one knee. Little did I know he hired a photographer who got my first reaction, afterwards we went to an amazing restaurant then he had tickets for us to see The Little Mermaid the play at the civic center, which is my all-time favorite Disney movie.
From the Bride:
My wedding experience was very simple; I just went with my first thought and stuck to it. I was living in Oklahoma and all my wedding details were in Texas, so at times it was hard but it was worth it. I felt like a princess and had so much fun on my wedding day.
Most memorable moment:
Putting the ring on my groom, he was so excited and it felt like he was just as happy to marry me as I was to spend my life with him.
What makes your love special?
He is truly my best friend and will always be.
What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?
Taking two people and becoming one, and learning more about my significant other.

Focus on what matters to you not others and everything will go better than expected.
