A custom tux is a pair of pants and blazer that is custom made for you. You start with a tailor or seamstress, choose the fabric, get measured and make each piece from a sewing pattern. It is often made in non-traditional materials and has little details that are special to you such as bigger pockets, an extra detailed seam or your initials sewn in the jacket. A custom tux is perfect for a formal affair. It is definitely the fashion forward choice when the groom really wants to stand out and feel extra special on his big day. Making the choice to go custom means several fittings, a higher price tag and extra decisions. But the result will be something that has everything you want with an immaculate fit for your wedding day.

A tailored suit to a woman is like lingerie to a man. Guys you just cannot go wrong with this choice! A tailored suit is a suit that you buy off of the rack and take to a seamstress or tailor to make sure it fits perfectly.  They can take it in make it a little longer and make small changes to the overall fit of the suit. You will not have the variety of options you would with a custom tux but it will give you the perfect fit for a smaller price tag. Another advantage of the tailored suit is being able to wear it after the big day. It is much easier to incorporate a tailored suite back into your wardrobe for daily use.
