We teamed up with Island Bridal by H&O which is a premiere couture bridal boutique with designs that appeal to the free spirited bride and fashionistas. Their headpieces are truly a work of art in detail, design and quality. We received a ton of submissions from brides all over the country but indeed there can only be one lucky winner! Jessica Nixon from Blacksburg, VA is the winner of our Glam Couture Headpiece Contest. Jessica affectionately known as Jess, has to wait until her fiance' returns from basic training in June to take her official engagement photos and continue her wedding planning efforts with her fiance'. "My glam wedding under the stars will be a wedding to remember. Guests will see the colors of coral, yellow, and gray with hints of crystals from the ceremony to the reception. When the sun goes down, candles and crystal chandeliers will illuminate the room. I would love the jeweled lace headpiece because it is the missing piece I've been searching for. The balance of traditional lace with surprise glamour of the jewels is exactly what I'm looking for!"
The Wedding
"The theme of our wedding is a Glam Night Under the Stars. The wedding will take place later in the day and incorporate the colors Coral, Yellow, and Gray. The ceremony will be held outdoors in a garden with coral and yellow flower petals along the aisle. Every other row of chairs, there will be a tree stump with a mason jar filled with homemade paper flowers, with hints of crystals and diamonds. The end of the aisle will be under a big tree where we will hand more crystals from the branches. This theme will continue to the reception with coral and yellow manzanita tree centerpieces that sparkle. There will be candles hanging from these trees so as the sun goes down, the lighting will give a nice vibe for the evening. As for me, I am looking for a dress that is all glam, totally out there and I will top it off with bright coral shoes to match the bridesmaids dresses."
