Kenneshia and LeKenneth recently celebrated their two year wedding anniversary with an "earthy" anniversary session in Tandy Hills in Fort Worth, TX. The couple met in high school, and were friends first before entering into a committed relationship. "The myth is that high school love doesn’t last and we believe as long as you have God, faith and patience, you can prove any myth wrong," said Kenneshia. The high school sweethearts have been together for 8 years and married for 2. Check out their romantic session captured by Velvet Sage Photography.

How did you know your partner was the one?
I knew my partner was the one when I realized certain obstacles we had to overcome together couldn’t break us apart.
What makes your love special?
What makes our love special is how hard we support each other emotionally, financially, mentally, and most importantly spiritually.
Tell us about your partner?
What I find special about my partner is that no matter what he carries me. He is always looking out for me even when he’s not around or when we are not in each others presents. That lets me know that I’m spiritually guided by my husband.
On October 12th 2010, LeKenneth arranged a horse and carriage ride around downtown Fort Worth, Texas. During the ride the horse began to act up. Then the ride stopped in front of a beautiful water garden. We got out and walked through the water garden and that’s when he proposed.
Tell us about your wedding day:
Wife: My wedding experience was beautiful, I felt so energetic and ready because I was excited. After I said "I do," I felt relieved that this man was mine and only mine.
Husband: On my wedding day I was nervous, when I saw my wife walk down the aisle it was beautiful because she was beautiful and I knew from that moment I chose the right woman of God to love.
