A White House Wedding Gift

We have all heard about The White House sending special letters or greetings for senior citizen's birthdays and Boy Scouts that have earned medals, but weddings? Yes they do!!

Here is how to get your personal wedding greeting!


1. Requests should be sent to the White House Greetings Office after the Wedding has occurred.


2. All requests should be submitted in writing and can be mailed, or faxed to The White House Greeting Office . A request for a wedding greeting should include:

a. Couple's name(s). Include couple's married names
b. Titles (such as Mr. and Mrs.)
c. Couple's complete address (including ZIP Code)
d. Full date of marriage (month, day, year)
e.
If faxing or mailing, please include your phone number, also.


The White House Greeting Office will also send greetings for the following occasions: Birthdays, Anniversaries, Baby's Birth, Eagle Scout Awards, Girl Scout Awards, Bar/Bat Mitzvah or equivalent occasions.
