About the bride
Ashley is someone special in everyway, the type of special that any man can ask for by her personality and strong will. When I look into her eyes I am at peace because I always feel nothing can go wrong as long as we are together. I have always loved her from the first time I smiled at her and she smiled back and will always continue to love her. I say this because when you meet the right person who captures your heart you just want to do everything in your power to make sure she keeps it. So I say that Ashley is one of a kind smart, very beautiful, and I would not know what I would do without her. I feel lucky to have such a beautiful woman in my life and I love you so much.

About the groom
A woman is suppose to be in control and LOL, Jeff lets me do that. He spoils me to the fullest, never telling me NO. He lets me be me, I never have to be someone that I am not. I am his princess even in soccer shorts and t-shirt s or dressed up. He is not only my fiance', but my friend. It's so hard to stay mad at him even when he makes me so angry because it is hard to not talk to him. I love you!

How we met
Ashley and Jeffrey first met at McNeese State University.  They would always see each other around school and mutually knew the same people.  Ashley and Jeffrey soon had a class together (Chemistry).  Ashley started inquiring about Jeffrey through a friend and he told Jeffrey that a girl he took chemistry with was asking about him.  So Jeffrey emailed Ashley because he was to shy to approach her and they exchange phone numbers via email.  They began to hanging out and eventually started dating.

How we got engaged
On the night of Feb. 13, 2010 Jeff and I joined my cousins for dinner. I noticed Jeff a little nervous about something, but I did not know why. I asked several times, "What's wrong?", but his answer, "Nothing, I'm good" as usual. We laughed and cut up at the hibachi grill with the other people around us. On that night it was really cold and I am a very cold natured person, so I ran to the car and told Jeff, "Hurry up I am cold", "Open the door". He told me, " No"!  So if anybody knows me I caught an attitude and was getting ready to go off. He grabbed me by my jacket and started talking and to be honest I really do not remember what he said because by then he was on one knee. All I can remember is saying, "Yes" with my mouth wide open and my cousin taking pictures and screaming!!!!
