Heiress Tea Party Styled Shoot! – Blackbride.com

From Jamésa S. Adams, Owner of Jayne Heir Weddings:

"As owner of Jayne Heir Weddings, the existence of my planning agency is based upon the ideology of the "heiress" mentality. The heiress mentality is solely based upon the aspects of royalty, crowns, and jewel tone colors that would be adorned by any princess or queen. As a little girl, we often envision our fairytale wedding day and every single aspect of our transition from the "tiara" (princess stage) to the "crown" (queen stage). This particular shoot embodies the rich, regal, and royal elements of a Jayne Heir bride. The Heiress Tea party is simply the whimsical fairytale moment that you have with your bridesmaids before you take that final step to marrying your Prince Charming. Essentially, an heiress themed tea party and wedding is simply what dreams are made of."

Shoot location: Malmaison, Georgetown, Washington, DC

Shoot theme: Heiress Tea Party

Color combinations: Ruby, Amethyst, Gold, Platinum

Favorite detail: The Bridal Crown

Shoot Details:

The scene of the Heiress Tea Party started in the heart of Georgetown, DC at the French inspired restaurant called Malmaison. The restaurant is located near the Historic Georgetown Waterfront. The tea party was adorned with the finest vintage china with mix match settings displaying beautiful floral designs with accents of precious gold, atop a beautiful vintage brass coffee table. The stationery was perfectly fit for an heiress encrusted with beautiful crystals, laced with ribbon and rich, Ruby and Amethyst Jewel tones.

Fashion Details:

The bride radiantly shined in the "Camille" gown by Lee Ann Belter bridal. The gown itself if a beautiful, ivory lace gown with a whimsical organza belted skirt. The light, fluffy and airy bottom of the skirt adds the whimsical effect that any bride could ever dream of. The bride also wore Ann Klein crystal earrings with a beautiful crystal crown fit for an heiress.

Make-Up and Hair:

The bride was styled with an intricately braided, high bun adorned with a jeweled crown. The bridesmaids wore intricately braided hairstyles as well with soft romantic curls and pinned to the side. The addition of the crowns, adds the whimsical and fairytale element. In regards to make up, we envisioned very natural glam looks that embodied warm, golden undertones and classic radiance. The romantic red lip of the bride is classic and creates a bold statement for a blushing bride.

The floral design:

The beautiful floral arrangements were custom created on the set of the shoot, which featured Ruby Garden Roses and the Amethyst Callalillies with gold hand painted leaves throughout the bouquets and the tea cup centerpieces. The two larger centerpieces were simply gorgeous and arranged with the softest ivory garden roses mixed in with white hydrangea and classic roses with gold hand painted leaves to add a rich element to the centerpieces. The bridal bouquet resembled the larger centerpieces with the same floral design and a slightly over sized bouquet that looked more like a scepter to embody the whimsical heiress look.

The signage:

The JH crowned signed with the leaf accent is a staple of the shoot. The signage sets the tone and any Bride can have the same branding or logo signage for their special day as well. Possibly with their initials or wedding date. The signage can be easily incorporated into the design elements of any wedding.
