Trend: Plunging backs

The plunging back is not a new trend on the scene but is holding tight to being one of the most popular trends for yet another year. It is a great way to show a little skin and still be elegant.  It guarantees your dress will make a statement and it gives your guest something to be gasp over as you confess your love to your groom. The key to making this look work is proper undergarments and making sure you have the appropriate body type for the silhouette of the gown.

Trend: Two Piece

Who would have thought a trend from every day wear would become so perfect for bridal? The two-piece trend is new to bridal and is definitely unique. It is not for every bride but if your goal is to stand out from the five weddings you went to this year this is the perfect way to do it. Now, some brides may fear this trend because baring some tummy can be a scary thought but there are plenty of two piece options that limit tummy exposure and still give the two piece look. Make this trend work by picking pieces that have fun details or by adding bold fun accessories.

Trend: Peeks of skin

Daring, sexy and alluring are a few descriptive words I would use to describe this next trend. Peeks of skin and see through lace.  This trend is for the bride who is looking to show off her hard work in the gym and who is far from shy. Although a lot of skin has not been a huge part of bridal it is definitely a trend that is here to stay. The good news is there are levels to this trend. You can show a little leg by having see- through lace at only the bottom of the dress or you can go bold and have the entire dress covered in see-through lace! Wearing this trend correctly means perfect tailoring, loads of confidence and the right accessories and shoes to complete the look.

Trend: Casual Class

Trend: Casual Class

Casual and classic is a new trend with an old twist. Although being casual and classic has always been a “do” casual has not been a word that is commonly used for bridal attire. This trend is perfect for a summer wedding or a small intimate affair on the beach or even for a second dress for your reception. The great part of this trend is that going casual means after you wear it on your big day it is easily incorporated back into your closet for everyday wear. The best way to sport this trend is to make sure your wedding and over all theme is fitting for casual attire.
