Designer Spotlight: Romona Keveza Bridal Collections – Fall 2015 – Blackbride.com

I had the pleasure of attending the Romona Keveza’s Fall 2015 Collections preview in the new penthouse at One Rockefeller Plaza during NYC Bridal Market. I was greeted by the comfort of a modern day vintage boutique. Both LEGENDS Romona Keveza and Romona Keveza Luxe Bridal Collections were outstandingly chic and full of classic elegance for the modern bride.

The Romona Keveza Fall 2015 Collection—a selection of gowns that combines both goddess and princess details, gives the modern bride the option to be glamorous or mystifying. These gowns are made of fabrics such as silk charmeuse, satin back crepe and a stunning light-reflecting liquid satin. The modern ball gown look, rooted from the ball gowns of the 1950s, illustrated a refreshing sense of class and style for brides today. The charm and delicacy in this collection silenced the room, as we sat with our champagne flutes, and delicious cupcakes from Madison Lee’s taking in the beauty of the pieces.

My favorite dresses were the gowns for Fall 2015 LEGENDS Romona Keveza. Each dress embodied the timeless sophistication of styles inspired by icons Audrey Hepburn, Jackie Kennedy, and Grace Kelly. What bride doesn’t want to feel legendary and iconic in her dress on her wedding day? I loved the skin-like sheer used in a few of the gowns in this collection that enhanced the boldness of the embroidered patterns of the gown.

Romona Keveza greeted me with open arms and shared with me a story about one of her gowns being worn on the hit T.V. show Girlfriends, in the  episode where the character Toni Childs gets married. She not only caters to the wedding industry, but has dressed well-known celebrities such as Jessica Alba and Lady Gaga and many others. Visit www.romonakeveza.com to see more of her amazing gowns.
