Vera Wang the reigning queen of bridal fashion has unveiled her latest bridal collection in a memorable bold and unconventional way this season. Instead of the traditional runway show, the New York City designer released s short film titled "Chasing Alix" accompanied by a look book to debut her Spring 2015 Bridal collection. In a press release, Wang says, "The opportunity to create a visual and expressive experience of the clothes, as interpreted by my fashion vision, is a whole new way for me to communicate with not only brides, but women everywhere. In this instance, bridal becomes the artistic vehicle to advance my love of fashion in general. I hope you will enjoy this new experience." Wang revealed her intention this season is to reach a wider audience than she could with a runway show.
There is no denying this collection as daring and classic Vera Wang at her very best with her signature full tulle skirts and feminine silhouettes ranging from minimal, chic columns to more intricate princess and mermaid styles. They are, as Vera describes, “Lightness of Being: Delicate and Disciplined.
