Eligibility & Minimum Age
Participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of submission. By submitting, participants represent and warrant that they meet this age requirement.
Selection & Judging
Winners are chosen based on editorial and merit-based criteria established by Black Bride and/or the Awards judging panel. Decisions are final and at the sole discretion of Black Bride. Submission or purchase of tickets, sponsorships, or advertisements does not influence award selection.
Voting Integrity & Fraud
Black Bride may disqualify nominees or revoke awards if fraudulent or suspicious voting practices are detected, including vote buying, automated/bot voting, or misleading marketing. All votes associated with violations may be voided. Determinations are made at the sole discretion of Black Bride.
Use of Submitted Materials
By submitting images, videos, text, or other materials (“Submissions”), participants grant Black Bride a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, display, publish, modify, and distribute the Submissions for editorial, promotional, marketing, archival, or business purposes. Participants represent that they own the Submissions or have obtained all necessary rights and that the materials do not infringe any third-party rights. Participants agree to indemnify Black Bride against any claims arising from breach of these representations.
Media Release from Winners
Winners may be asked to sign additional release forms. Black Bride may photograph or record recipients during events and use such media under the license above.
Non-Endorsement & Marketing Use
Awards recognize achievement and do not constitute a commercial endorsement by Black Bride. Winners may reference their award in marketing but must comply with Black Bride branding guidelines and may not imply broader commercial endorsement. Misuse may result in revocation.
Acts of God / Event Disruption
Black Bride is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or disruptions due to events beyond its control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or governmental actions. Where practical, alternatives may be provided, but Black Bride assumes no further liability.
Prizes & Taxes
Winners are responsible for any taxes on monetary prizes. Black Bride may require tax forms (e.g., IRS Form W-9) prior to prize delivery. Travel, lodging, or related expenses are the responsibility of the winner unless otherwise specified.
Disqualification & Revocation
Black Bride may disqualify or revoke awards for conduct that violates these rules, undermines award integrity, or harms Black Bride’s reputation, including fraud, misrepresentation, or criminal behavior.
Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Black Bride and its affiliates are not liable for consequential, incidental, punitive, or exemplary damages related to the Awards.
